| Sydney Bialo - Executive Director |
|
Sydney
Bialo is the founder of the SHED, Kid's Club and Camp Adventure programs
that comprise SHED, Inc. She has served as their executive director
for the past nineteen years. In her capacity at SHED she has demonstrated
her extensive skills in the areas of building internal management
systems, program expansion, fundraising, and staff management and
development. She is the founder, and a member and chairperson, of
the Early Childhood Director's Collaboration (ECDC), as well as being
active on several additional Advisory Boards. Ms. Bialo has served
as an instructor at Northern Essex Community College, and remains
a member of their Advisory Board. She offers her expertise as a Quality
Advisor for school-age programs throughout Massachusetts and is an
endorser for the National School-Age Accreditation System. She has
appeared on television as a guest of the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF)
program to offer her expertise in the area of literacy as it relates
to out of school time programs. Ms. Bialo holds an undergraduate degree
in Child Development from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst
and an MS in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College, Boston,
MA. She has been married for 29 years and has a daughter who has also
entered the field of Early Childhood Education. |

| Bette Lynch - SHED Director & Camp Adventure Co-Director |

Ms. Lynch is a twelve-year veteran of SHED. She serves as the Director of the SHED program, supervising the daily happenings for the children and teachers. In addition, Ms. Lynch serves as the Co-Director of Camp Adventure. She is skilled in communicating with the staff and families and relishes the opportunities and challenges in building strong relationships with them. She conducts staff trainings and weekly meetings, coordinates teachers', children's and bus schedules, plans events, facilitates curriculum, conducts tours for prospective families, handles necessary paperwork, oversees safety issues, and coordinates weekly planning time for teachers...all with unflagging enthusiasm and patience. She is a literacy advocate and has enlarged the SHED library collection for both the children and their parents. Ms. Lynch, an Andover native, has ties with many community organizations that are sources of enrichment for the children and the program. Ms. Lynch, a yoga and outdoor enthusiast, enjoys hiking and sharing her love of nature and science with the children. She holds an undergraduate degree from Salem State College in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Lynch makes her home in Andover and is both a proud mother and grandmother. |

| Linda Shottes-Bouchard - Kid's Club Director |

Linda
Shottes-Bouchard brings thirteen years of experience to her job as
Director of the Kid's Club Program. She is skilled in the areas of
curriculum development, site management, standards development, and
facilitating dialog among parents, schools, families and staff. Ms.
Shottes-Bouchard was the co-founder and has served as the president
of MSAC (Massachusetts School Age Coalition) as well as being active
on many of its committees and boards, including serving as the past
chair person of the Resource and Organizational Committee. She facilitated
and planned for the first APEX (Achieving Program Excellence) course
in the Merrimack Valley. Ms. Shottes-Bouchard was instrumental in
facilitating the accreditation of the Kid's Club program by the National
School Age Care Alliance (NSACA), making it one out of only 350 programs
accredited nationally. She serves as an Endorser for NSACA. Her professional
affiliations include membership in MASSACC, BAEYC School Age Committee,
and the OCCS Region Three Advisory Committee. She also served as a
facilitator and member of Networking After-School Directors. Ms. Shottes-Bouchard
holds a BS in Sociology from North Adams State College, North Adams,
MA and has attended Summer Institutes and Advanced Seminar in SACC
Administration at Wheelock College, Boston, MA. She and her husband,
Paul, live in Merrimac, MA with their two children, Zach and Elise. |

| Dina Hurley - Kid's Club Assistant Director & Camp Adventure Co-Director |

Dina Hurley has been employed at Kid's Club since 1992. She is currently serving as Assistant Director of Kid's Club and Co-Director of Camp Adventure. Dina's strengths lie in her ability to communicate and build relationships with families and staff, coordinate and facilitate staff meetings, program events, and to plan curriculum and trainings. She is involved in facilitating trainings through the Child Care Circuit, MSAC (Massachusetts School Age Coalition), the APEX programs (Achieving Program Excellence), and the PASS Project. Ms. Hurley holds both an undergraduate and Master's degree in Child Development from Wheelock College, Boston, MA. She lives in Methuen, MA with her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Maggie. |

| Jessica Laffey - Team Adventure Director |

Jessica has been with SHED for two years. Starting as a team teacher, she is now the Older Kid’s Coordinator for the Kid’s Club and Camp Adventure programs. Her goals are to help work as part of our team to help build and ensure the further growth and development of children in the 5 to 8 grade. Jess graduated from Fitchburg State College with a BS in sociology and special education. She comes to Shed with extensive experience in the areas of special education and child care, ranging from pre K to high school. Jess brings much joy, fun, excitement and adventure to this program. |

| Debbie Piazza - Kid's Club Administrator |

This is Debbie’s first year with Kid's Club. She has lived in Andover for the past twenty three years with her husband, Lou, her three children, Ryan Michele and Christopher, and her beloved golden retriever, Cody. She is an avid skier, scuba diver, and motorcycle rider. She enjoys keeping physically fit and spending time with friends and family. |
