Parent concerns, opinions, and suggestions are encouraged at any time. Reactions, both positive and negative, help the Program grow. We encourage you to communicate with the teaching staff or Program Directors, either directly when at the Program, through a note or by a telephone call. If you wish to schedule a meeting, please call the Program to schedule one at a mutually convenient time.

If you have a concern or complaint that is not resolved to your satisfaction, parents have the right to contact the SHED Board of Directors or the Office of Child Care Services (OCCS), the licensing entity for SHED.

The Parent Involvement Committee is a group of interested parents whose goal is to strengthen the connection between the program and families. The committee meets quarterly and does not have a predetermined number of people. It is made up of the entire parent community. Meeting notices are posted at SHED KID'S CLUB, as well as e-mail notifications for those who sign up for the e-mail list.
